１．恐れるアブラム（1〜4節）
イサク（創26：24）、ヤコブ（創46：3）、パウロ（使徒18：9〜10）、イエス様の弟子たち、モーセ、ヨシュア（ヨシュア1：5〜9）
「これらのことの後で」（1節）
アブラムは、神さまに心を閉ざしたのではなく、神さまに心を注ぎだした（2節）。
神さまはそれをアブラハムの不信仰としてではなく、祈りとして聞いて下さった。
２．さあ、天を見上げてごらん。（5〜8節）
「さあ」(na) - 創13：14、15：5、22：2、出エジプト11：2
人の理解を超えていることを告げられたとき使われた言葉
「アブラムは主を信じた」（6節）
8節 - 神さまを信じたら、神さまにもう何も尋ねてはいけないということではない。信仰生活というのは、むしろ、一歩一歩神さまに尋ねながら歩んでいくものではないか。
３．恐ろしい大いなる暗黒の中で（9〜21節）
待ち続けるアブラム
