「神の国が来た」 恒枝 篤史兄

今日の聖書の箇所に、「神の国」という言葉が出てきます。
「イエスはガリラヤへ行き、神の福音を宣べ伝えて、『時は満ち、神の国は近づいた。悔い改めて福音を信じなさい』と言われた。」
「神の国は近づいた。」ここに、「神の国」という言葉がありますが、・・・皆さん、「神の国」という言葉は、新約聖書に、何回くらい登場すると思いますか？
実は、68回、登場します。では、「神の国」とは、いったい何のことなのでしょうか？
最初の意味は、私たちがよく考える意味だと思うんですが、それは「天国」という意味ですね。御心にかなった者たちが、この地上での歩みを終えて、召されていく場所です。聖書を読むと、そこが素晴らしい場所であることが分かりますね。神様の御許にあって、神様の愛と力が隅々にまで行きわたって、慰めと、平和と、喜びに満ち溢れている場所、それが天国です。天国は、まさしく神の国でしょう。
・・・けれども、実は、神の国というのは、天国の中だけにあるのではないんです。今日は、新たな一年を始めるにあたり、この「神の国」について、少し掘り下げて学んでいきたいと思います。

“The kingdom of
God is
near.” In today’s passage, there is a word, “kingdom of
God.”
Do you know how
many times the word “kingdom of
God”
appears in the New
Testament? 68 times! Then, what is “kingdom of
God”?
The first meaning is what we usually think about. That is “heaven.” The
place the faithful believers are
drawn up as they complete their journey on
the earth. The place we can be with God. God’s love and power are filled
everywhere. His
comfort, peace, and joy are fulfilled.
That is heaven.
Heaven is
exactly the kingdom of
God!
But the Truth is… the kingdom of
God is not
only in Heaven.
Today, as we begin this new year, we’d like to study a little bit deeply about this “kingdom of
God.”

エフェソ1章の17節〜19節にかけて、「心の目を開いてくださるように」（18節）、「悟らせてくださるように」（18節）、そしてまた「悟らせてくださるように」（19節）、とパウロが３度も繰り返して祈っています。私たちは、見えているようで、見えていない。たとえ目の前にあったとしても、見えないことがある。だから、パウロはそれがはっきりと見えるようにと祈っているのです。それでは、心の目が開かれて何が見えるようにしてください、とパウロは祈っているのでしょうか。今日から、「勝利のクリスチャン生活の８つの秘訣」と題して、このエフェソの信徒への手紙を通して、恵みを頂いていきたいと思っています。

We are not really seeing what we think we are seeing. Even when there are things in front of us, we often don’t realize their existence. Paul is asking that “the eyes of your heart may be enlightened
in order that you may know” (v. 18). Then, what is Paul is praying for? “ We are starting a
new series of messages from the book of Ephesians. And the
title is “Eight Keys For Rooting Our Christian
Lives”
