生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんが肉体的に成長していく必要があるのと同じように、新しく生まれたクリスチャンも、霊的に成長していく必要があります。いったい、私たちはどこまで成長できるのでしょうか。
「ついには、わたしたちは皆、神の子に対する信仰と知識において一つのものとなり、成熟した人間になり、キリストの満ちあふれる豊かさになるまで成長するのです。」（エフェソ4:13）
新改訳ですと、「キリストの満ち満ちた身たけにまで達するためです。」とあります。私たちがあらゆる点で成長して、キリストに似た者へと変えられていくこと、これが私たちキリスト者、クリスチャンに対する神様の御心なのです。では、どのようにして、私たちは、キリストの身たけにまで成長していくのでしょうか。どのようにしてキリストのからだである教会は、建て上げられていくのでしょうか。今日は、第4の勝利のクリスチャン生活の秘訣、「キリストの身たけにまで」ということを、エフェソの4章の前半から考えていきたいと思います。

Just as a newborn baby needs to grow up physically,
a newborn Christian
needs to grow up spiritually.
Then, how far can we
grow?
“Until all of us
come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to maturity, to
the measure of the full stature of Christ.” (Eph
4:13)
God’s plan for us
is to conform into the
image of Christ. Then, how can we the Church
reach to the fullness of Christ? How can the body
of Christ be built up? Today, we’d like to see the fourth vital keys for rooting Christian
lives from the first half of Chapter 4 of the
Book of Ephesians.
