Empowering Spirit (1)”
Numbers 11:24-30
モーセは神様に頼りましたが、それだけでなく、他の人たちの助けにも頼りました。モーセは、自分自身の地位にも、役職にも、特権にも、何のねたみもこだわりもありませんでした。もし神様が、神の霊を体験できるように、他の人たちに神の霊を注がれるのだとしたら、それは、モーセにとっては喜ばしいことでした。モーセは、神の霊から与えられた力を「謙遜さ」をもって扱うことができたし、「ねたむことなく」力を持つことができました。その必要がなかったからです。
Moses
not only depended on God, but also depended on the help of others. Moses had no
personal jealousy, for his status, office, or privilege. If God wanted others
to enjoy the experience of his Spirit and all the manifestation that went with
it, that is fine with Moses. He could wield power with humility, and he
held power without jealous, because he had no need for that.

使徒2：1〜21

Empowering Spirit (2)”
Acts 2:1-21
聖霊を受けて、「神の偉大な業を語る者とされた者たちの共同体」、それが教会です。教会とは、「聖霊の一致を映し出す存在」です。三位一体なる神様の麗しい、完全なる一致を映し出す存在です。そして、教会の使命とは、「神が全ての人を愛しておられるんですよ」、という主イエス・キリストによる救いの業を、世に告げ知らせることです。
The
church is the community of the disciples who received the power of the Holy
Spirit and became the witness to declare the wonders of God. The church is to
reflect the unity of the Spirit. The Church is a reflection of the perfect
union of the Trinity. And the mission of the church is to proclaim God’s
love for all people and His saving acts through Lord Jesus Christ.
