パウロは、コリントの手紙の中で、神の目から見て三種類の人がいると話しています。（１）自然の人、（２）肉の人、（３）霊の人です。クリスチャンになっても、肉の性質が私たちの内には残っています。クリスチャンである私たちも気をつけないと、私たちは多くの場合、「霊の人」ではなくて、「肉の人」として歩んでしまっていることがあります。しかしパウロは、「いつまでも肉の人であってはならないですよ。キリストにある幼子であってはなりませんよ。成長を私は願っているのですよ」と言って、コリントの教会のクリスチャンたちにこの手紙を書いています。
Paul
says there were 3 kinds of people in God’s eyes: (1) the natural person, (2)
people of the flesh, and (3) spiritual people. Even after we become Christians,
the characteristics of the flesh still remain in us. And if we are not careful,
we often walk not as spiritual people but people of the flesh. But Paul says
“Don’t remain as people of the flesh forever,” and writes this letter to the
Christians in the Corinthian Church.

パウロは、コリントの手紙の中で、神の目から見て三種類の人がいると話しています。私たちは、山頂の体験を通して、神に会い、神の言葉を受け、変えられるように召されています。私たちはペトロのように、自分の仮小屋を建てて、「ここはなんと素晴らしい場所だろう。このままずっと礼拝を、学びの時を楽しんでいたい。この時間を続けていたい」と思うかもしれません。しかし、私たちは谷に降りていかなければなりません -- 自分の持ち場に、現場に。しかし私たちが出て行くときには、来た時とは変えられた存在として、出て行くのです。
We care called to have the mountain top experiences
to meet our God, receive His Word, and be changed. Like what Peter said, we
would like to set up our tents and stay longer on the mountain to enjoy all
that we are worshipping and learning. But we must go back to the valley ? back
to our situations. But when we go, we leave a different people than when we
came.
